PERFORMANCE STUDY OF ROLE OF ENZYME IN SEWAGE TREATMENT

Abstract

Sewage water normally contain large quantities of domestic waste mixed with sum amount of industrial effluent. Apart from other constituents, the demotic waste invariably contain large quantities of suspended solids, bio chemical oxygen demand and some quantity of phosphate, nitrate & oil which degrade in the treatment process, due to high percentage of organic solids create large amount of foul gases at the time degradation, for minimizing the pollutant loads in treatment plant some biological products are used. In this project, effect of enzyme in sewage treatment has been determine by testing influent and effluent through whole study. The investigation has been carried out before using of enzyme and after using of enzyme. Enzymes are not cheaply available therefore it is not use regularly for big waste water treatment plant
