This thesis presents a three-phase interleaved boost (TPIB) converter with fault tolerant capability that focuses on balancing the inductor current in three legs under non-ideal circuit conditions. PI controllers are used to maintain a stable output voltage by utilizing a voltage control loop alongside a current control loop, which also help eliminate overshoots and un dershoots, as well as disturbances in the circuit. By keeping the current evenly distributed across three legs of inductors with parasitic, the system reduces ripple, enhance reliability and lifespan of the converter, which leads to easy and smoother operation of the circuit. The open circuit fault is introduced in the circuit, so if the fault is present in any leg at a particular switching cycle, then the load is distributed to the remaining healthy legs to get a constant current. The modelling of TPIB converter is performed by getting the transfer function of the system. The proposed method has been analysed and simulated in MATLAB SIMULINK. The simulation shows the results of balanced currents in healthy conditions as well as after fault conditions in the circuit.en_US
