| dc.description.abstract | The increase of electric vehicles has led in high demand for efficient and reliable power electronic converters. This work is dedicated to the analysis and control of two advanced converter topologies: the T-type Dual Active Bridge converter and the Ćuk Power Factor Correction (PFC) converter. The Ćuk PFC converter is used for power quality enhancement, current ripple reduction and high power factor maintenance, whereas the T type Dual active bridge converter is studied for effective bi-directional power transfer, reduced switching stress and improved voltage regulation. Both converters are modelled and simulated in open-loop and closed-loop operation using MATLAB. Simulation results help us to give a better understanding of how both converters are working, their performance and efficiency. | en_US |
