A PROJECT REPORT ON PREVENTION OF RMU GAS LEAKAGE

Abstract

My project title is “A Project Report on Prevention of RMU Gas leakage, a Total Quality Management journey in Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd”. As we know Tata power DDL is a benchmark DISCOM utility in the field of distribution of electricity. It has a joint venture with Delhi govt. since 2002 after privatization of DVB(Delhi Vidyut board). The company are following TQM (total quality management) and DWM (daily work management) on top most priority. The purpose of the department is to ensure reliable & uninterrupted power supply in our area of operation, by adopting latest state of the art technology and innovative products, ensuring quality of work and to meet the aspiration and requirement of our customers and other stakeholders, with focus on 100% safety and security of men and material. In order to achieve this goal, TPDDL has main motto of Safety and Ethics. The company are following TQM(Total Quality Management), DWM(Daily Work management) at workplace on priority. The Gas eye is a project report that based on a journey of Total Quality Management, implementation and check after testing and standardization the new initiative. This is the chapter convention on Quality concepts CCQC 2025. The initiative of RMU department and zonal department for solving the problem of sf6 gas leakage by Automated the pressure switch in manometer and connected/communicated with SCADA system in PSC.
