Abstract: This study explores the design of an anisotropic polarization conversion metasurface. An untried design utilizing circular split ring resonator, having Silicon Dioxide (SiO2) as a substrate which is backed by a thin metallic plate of copper is proposed. The occurrence of polarization conversion by the metasurface in the frequency range of 8 – 9.5 Ghz and 11.8 to 12.5 Ghz is investigated. The findings demonstrate the ability to achieve polarization conversion holding a significant promise for future research since the ability to manipulate polarization of light waves open doors for advancements in display technologies, optical communications, and metamaterial designs with groundbreaking functionalities.
