dc.description.abstractManpower development is critical for every organization's growth. Any firm that places a high priority on employee training and development will always have a beneficial outcome. Any organization that fails to prioritize staff training and development will struggle to meet its goals and will find it difficult to compete favorably. Organizations can participate in a variety of training and development programs(s). The aim is to show that unless workforce training and development is correctly done, achieving employee satisfaction becomes difficult. Many training programs fail to deliver the expected organizational benefits. Having a well structured programme in place can help us to determine where the problem lies in the performance of the employees. The company invests a large amount of money in conducting training programs. So measurement of the effectiveness of Training programs is very essential. This study will throw light on the effectiveness of training programs, their contribution in organizational development and Employee performance. The objectives of this study is to find out the Impact of Training and Development Programs on Employee Performance, to find out the effectiveness of training programs and their contribution in organizational development and to understand the significance of T&D from perspective of employees. It is descriptive study based on the survey method being adopted to do the research. This study will require both primary and secondary data. There has been extensive usage of primary data. Well-structured questionnaire was prepared for the subjects. Primary data will be collected by survey method with the help of structured questionnaires prepared for the purpose. The secondary data will be collected from various books, journals and the internet.en_US
