Abstract: The present study has been undertaken in order to design a sewage treatment plant for NDLS (New Delhi Railway Station) based on the Cyclic activated sludge technology(Ctech). The large amount of sewage waste generated at NDLS, one of the busiest railway station in India ,is disposed off directly in the Yamuna river due to this the quality of Yamuna river is deteriorating day by day ,to stop this direct disposal of sewage waste into the Yamuna river the study was undertaken to design the sewage treatment plant for NDLS based on Cyclic activated sludge technology which will require relatively less area and will process and treat the sewage water and will dispose the treated sewage water into the Yamuna river according to the Indian standards for wastewater treatment.
