WORKSHOP ON: E-RESOURCES: A GATEWAY FOR RESEARCH 2017, 2ND EDITION

Abstract

The Central Library, Delhi Technological University has been spending substantial amount to subscribing number of databases besides getting access from the e-Sodh Sindhu (INFLIBNET). The library observed these e-resources are not being utilized optimally due to number of reasons for example unawareness of these databases, difficulties in using the different platforms etc. In order to enhance the usage of these databases, the Central Library organized a five days workshop titled “E-Resources: A Gateway for Research” from 4th September to 8th September 2016. The objectives of the workshop were 1. Create Awareness About the Electronic Resources Accessible from Central Library 2. Encourage the Users to use them 3. To use different platforms for retrieving precise information 4. To create their own digital library 5. To write quality article/project report.
