Abstract: The Central Library organized a successful session/ workshop/ training on Turnitin on 24.01.2017 (Tuesday) in the conference hall of the library for faculty, students and staff members of DTU. Plagiarism has become a very serious concern among the academic community all over the world. Turnitin is an Internet-based plagiarism-prevention service. Turnitin checks the documents for unoriginal content. The results can be used to identify similarities to existing sources. The workshop coordinated by Dr. (Mrs.) Lalita, Assistant Librarian under the supervision of R K SHUKLA, University Librarian was well attended by the faculty members and students
