| Abstract: | eLearning is becoming a big business, with huge investments in IT Technology supporting online medium of teaching, learning, content sharing, tests and assessments, grading and evaluation of courses and programs offered by various institutes and universities. Accordingly eLearning systems have evolved a lot to offer personalized teaching and learning experience to both instructors and students through digital experience. Schools and Universities in developed countries have been pioneer in adopting eLearning systems to complement their traditional methods of teaching and evaluation. Schools and Universities in developing countries have also started eLearning technology into their educational systems to bring quality education and increase their reach among wider audience. Service providers of eLearning systems that have significant amount of historical data about delivery and engagement of digital contents can use hidden knowledge discovered through data mining techniques to improve eLearning design, development and business strategies. |
