Abstract: | The goal-oriented Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) arrangement of the Government of India has been imagined as a radical change in benefit conveyance that sidesteps the wasteful aspects that conventional administration conveyance systems have confronted. In this framework, benefits are exchanged by banks straightforwardly to financial balances of recipients/beneficiaries. These records are Aadhaar-empowered, in that they are connected to the recipient's Aadhaar number. Recipients can interface their current financial balances or open new accounts, even no-ornamentation ones, utilizing their Aadhaar number. The whole procedure of store disbursal to recipient accounts is momentary. Implementation of Maha DBT is one of the initiative taken the government of Maharashtra, which is a unique and simplified platform created for its People/Citizens to help them avail benefits through various welfare schemes. The main objective of Maha DBT is to provide easy and seamless processes for application & approval and speedy & transparent execution of disbursement of the benefits directly to the Beneficiary's bank account. Government of Maharashtra envisages use of Aadhaar as the primary identifier for providing subsidies, benefits and public services to the citizens of Maharashtra |
