dc.description.abstract | The Indian Equity market is divided in to two parts Primary market - where the share is first issued in the form of IPO (Initial Public Offering) and after issuing the share it is listed on exchange and share is traded on exchange where shares can be bought and sold this is secondary market. What is equity investment and how does the India Stock Market works? What are the various alternatives available to the investor in Indian Stock Market? How the investment is done in various instruments that are available? Equity research is what an equity research analyst does. Well, to start with, equity research is a study of equities or stocks for the purpose of investments A Derivative is a financial instrument whose value depends on other, more basic, underlying variables. The variables underlying could be prices of traded securities and stock, prices of gold or copper. Derivatives have become increasingly important in the field of finance, Options and Futures are traded actively on many exchanges, Forward contracts, Swap and different types of options are regularly traded outside exchanges by financial intuitions, banks and their corporate clients in what are termed as over-the-counter markets – in other words, there is no single market place or organized exchanges. The various types of investments available for an investors like equity, debt, Mutual funds, public funds, derivatives include Forwards, Futures, Options and Currencies. | en_US |
