Two new simple structures for the simulation of floating lossy inductance have been proposed which realize series and parallel RL impedances employing two voltage differencing inverting buffered amplifiers (VDIBAs) as active components. The presented circuit topologies use canonical number of passive components (one resistor and one capacitor). The simulated inductor can be tuned electronically by means of transconductance of VDIBA in case of floating parallel RL structures while the inductance can be controlled through a resistance in case of series RL. The performance of the proposed configuration has been verified through SPICE simulation using TSMC 0.25um CMOS Technology.en_US
