dc.description.abstractIn this project, we tried to proposed a novel method for image enhancement so that the image taken in certain circumstances can be improved in term of its quality. Till now, we have various methods present for the purpose of image enhancement but all are having some limitations so out of them we have chosen the best method known and made improvements in that so that its performance and quality can be improved. We used two methods that are retinex and guided image filtering. We used methods of these both to propose a new method, which can give better enhancement than both of them. The proposed method is tested and compared with various other methods in the result section which can be referred to check the quality of results with respect to the other methods.en_US
