Abstract: In the present age of globalization and industrialization, food organizations need to improve their performance for their high productivity and cost minimization. To meet this requirement all members of supply chain need to work properly and in an organized way. In the first part study has carried out to need of supply chain management in food supply chain, problems encounter in supply chain and various performance factors in food supply chain. In the next part, critical success factors of food supply chain have been identified based on literature review. Then these critical success factors have been ranked with the help of techniques for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS).TOPSIS method has relatively high rationality and applicability when it is used to rank the critical success factors of food supply chain. In next part, all identified critical success factors of food supply chain grouped into three parts assets, processes and performance. Study proposed a framework based on fuzzy AHP. This proposed framework provides more accurate data for selecting best food supply chain. By the help of fuzzy AHP, we have compare the three food supply chains and find out the best supply chain on the basis of three factors Assets, Processes and Performance. Finally all findings from different section have been combined in the last chapter.
