Abstract:	Flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) are famous by the use of data processor control in position of the hard automation mainly found in transfer lines. The high investment need for a FMS and the potential of FMS as a strategic competing apparatus make it attractive to engross in research in this extent. This notes ready a reconsider of literature concerning the operations aspect of FMS. Articles intensive many methodological perspectives are exactly reviewed. The review is done from manifold viewpoints. Future study directions are suggested
