Abstract: Gelatin is a biodegradable, biocompatible and non immunogenic product, suitable for medical applications. To for various biomedical and other application of gelatin its mechanical, chemical and structural properties plays a vital role .So in the present study we are going to characterize various mechanical and structural properties of gelatin and bioglass (as a dopant) enriched gelatin films by various physical & mechanical characterization techniques like FTIR ,SEM ,XRD and UTM etc. With the help of various characterization techniques we can specify the various uses and application area of gelatin and gelatin doped materials.
