Web applications have insufficient requirement engineering techniques, presented as one of the most important problems which have to be solved when web engineering emerged. Similarly, requirement engineering also has some problems like undefined system boundary and insufficient requirement information. Most of the work that have been done for the development of Web applications, focuses mainly on the design and pays less attention on requirements engineering. Furthermore, traditional techniques for specifying requirements are not appropriate to support distinctive characteristics of Web applications such as Navigation. In this thesis, the discussion will be on the most relevant methods in Web engineering, paying special attention to Web application requirements specification.en_US
