Abstract: The paper describes conceptual outline of emerging technologies with special reference to Web 2.0 services that are transforming the structure of the web and their potential impact on the environment of Library & Information Centers and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS). This paper presents an overview of Web 2.0 including definitions, technologies involved and sites currently advocated as examples of Web 2.0. The introduction of new technologies into Library and Information Centers (LIC) are examined through the survey study of IITs, IIMs DCE, and some selected foreign libraries. It is done through evaluation of library websites. .
