dc.description.abstract | As the Web continues to grow, it has become increasingly difficult to read through all those information and go through to all the search pages to check which information is important and which is not till you find some meaningful information. The information on the internet is so vast that if we want to collect and analyze any meaningful information or news about a particular subject, we need to have a system that will automatically analyze, sort and respond to only the relevant and important information while filter out the irrelevant information or news. There are various techniques and algorithms ( such as machine learning ) that come under the process of data mining, can be used for separating the relevant and irrelevant news from a dataset. In this thesis, We have made the attempt to create a working news filter which will filters out the relevant and related news for the user out of the enormous amount of news results available for any searched word . | en_US |
