Abstract: Trigeneration is the simultaneous production of power/electricity, hot water and/or steam, and chilled water from one fuel. Basically, a trigeneration power plant is a cogeneration power plant that has added absorption chillers for producing chilled water from the heat that would have been wasted from a cogeneration power plant. Trigeneration system efficiency is higher than both simple and cogeneration system. In this present research work case studies of cogeneration (full load and part load) and trigeneration plants have been performed. For this purpose operating parameter (mass flow rate, Pressure, Temperature etc) at inlet and outlet of each system component have been determined. By using EES calculated parameter (Enthalpy, Entropy, Exergy etc) has been determined, With the help of these parameters, System performance parameters (first law, second law efficiency, exergy) have been estimated.
