Abstract: Supply chain is concerned with managing dependencies between various supply chain members and the joint efforts of all supply chain members to achieve mutually defined goals. There are different mechanisms reported in the literature that have been discussed like information sharing, customer service and satisfaction, Supplier development, Inventory management and Strategies which help in coordinating the supply chain members. There is a need to consider a holistic perspective of effectiveness in the entire supply chain. So various effectiveness factors of the supply chain such as Top management commitment, Mutual understanding, Flow of information, Relationship and decision making, organization factors and Performance are considered in this study. These issues are illustrated with the help of case study: For doing case study SAP-LAP framework has been used. Findings of the study will be highly useful for industry and academic.
