Abstract: Buildings are designed primarily to serve the needs of an intended occupancy, whether residential, commercial, or, in some cases, a combination of the two. The dominant design requirement is therefore the provision of an appropriate internal layout of the building. The common practice of building construction is a framed structure i.e Beams and columns, with slab resting on beams. But nowadays new type of construction was found in building i.e. slab on columns (without beam),some pictures are shown in this report using this type(Without beam) of construction. This report tries to find the changes in the various structural parameters with two different types of construction. The change in type(without beam) of construction effects the various structural parameters in building .This aspect can be studied by modeling the building with variation in beam stiffness and comparing various parameters like the displacement in building, column reactions and forces generated in building, b...
