Abstract: The web, once solely a repository for information, is evolving into a provider of services, such as e-commerce and searching. With this huge amount of information available the Semantic Web Technologies are one of the promising solutions for efficiently managing huge free form data in web documents. The Semantic Web aims to enrich the existing web with a layer of machineinterpretable metadata so that a computer program can draw conclusions predictably. Enabling the web with semantic web technologies is one of the promising solutions for efficiently managing huge free form data in web documents. The HTML language has a major drawback. It defines mark-ups that define the format in which a given text should be displayed but says nothing about the text.
